Brand Refresh, Website & Exhibition
Award winning regeneration company Urban Splash commissioned Tokyo Wolf to update its brand identity and create a new website to coincide with a major RIBA retrospective which marks its 25th year in business.
The company which has been considered a maverick in the industry has transformed attitudes to urban living, rescuing many unloved buildings from the jaws of the bulldozers, and helped to reinvigorate and regenerate many of the UK’s inner city areas.
The first major brand overhaul for the company since 2007 was revealed recently at the exhibition which launched at RIBA North’s headquarters in Liverpool, before commencing a tour of major UK cities during the summer of 2018.
Founded by entrepreneur Tom Bloxham and architect Jonathan Falkingham in 1993, Urban Splash has won more than 60 RIBA Awards, and the new exhibition ‘It will never work’ explores and chronicles the company’s notable and consistent body of work, detailing both success and the challenges they’ve faced over the past two decades, including weathering the storm of recession, to go on to deliver a new generation of housing and place-making projects.
